Cody McKay Motorsports Pandemic - Latest News

Ok, We know, The whole world is in lock down.

In any dire situation or down turn of the economy that means entertainment is the first thing to be put on hold. With sport being a form of entertainment you can only assume its the first thing to go on the pause list.

How does this effect our racing for the 2020 season?

Supercars rounds in Tasmania, Auckland and Perth have been postponed with the season to kick off again on June 5th for the Winton 400.

With Aussie Racing Cars’ next round being a support round of the Supercars in Tasmania this will be either run later in the season, changed to a different location or cancelled all together, with the same fate assumed for our May round Winton as the support for the TCR series.

Aussie Racing Cars are committed to doing their best to secure 7 rounds to this year’s calendar but just like everything, no one knows what the future outcomes and locations will be.

With the current information available. we can assume our most popular rounds in Sandown, Surfer’s Paradise and Newcastle will be going ahead as planned and we will be making all preparations for the bigger races on this years calendar, with the potential of more racing for us to be a part of.

Whilst everyone panics we are taking advantage of the down time to carryout improved modifications to our car, spruce up on driver training on our simulator, testing and preparing for exciting marketing plans with new an existing sponsors and partners for when we are back on track.

Stay safe everyone!
